Working with njuko: onboarding & support expectations
Understand how onboarding works, what njuko helps you with, and how your team becomes autonomous over time.
At njuko, our goal is not only to help you launch your first event successfully, but also to give your team the tools and knowledge needed to manage future editions independently.
This article explains:
-
what we help you with during onboarding
-
what we expect from your team
-
how support works once your setup is complete
1. How njuko helps you during onboarding
When you first join njuko, our team helps you build the foundations of your event setup.
This typically includes:
-
Initial platform onboarding
-
Helping you understand the njuko ecosystem and available features
-
Advising on the modules and tools best suited to your event(s)
-
Helping structure your registration flow
-
Assisting with complex setup questions
-
Providing best practices based on similar events
-
Supporting technical or operational challenges where needed
Our goal during this phase is to help you create a strong and scalable framework for your event operations.
2. Your first edition is a collaborative setup phase
The first edition is usually the most configuration-heavy phase.
During this process, your team will progressively learn how:
-
Editions are structured
-
Forms and workflows work
-
Competitions and pricing are configured
-
Participant management functions
-
Modules and automations behave
We encourage teams to actively explore the platform during this stage so they become comfortable managing future editions independently.
3. What happens after onboarding
Once:
-
your structure is properly configured
-
your first edition is operational
-
your team understands the platform basics
your organisation becomes largely self-serve.
This means your team can independently:
-
Create future editions
-
Duplicate previous setups
-
Manage registrations
-
Configure new competitions and forms
-
Install modules
-
Create exports and dashboards
-
Manage participant communications
For many organisers, future editions become significantly faster to prepare thanks to duplication and reusable configuration.
4. Ongoing support from the njuko team
Even in a self-serve model, our support team remains available to help you.
You can always contact us for:
-
Questions about how features work
-
Best practice recommendations
-
Guidance for unusual or complex use cases
-

-
Advice on event configuration strategies
Our role evolves from initial setup support to long-term platform guidance and expertise.
5. Important things to know
Event testing remains your responsibility
We strongly recommend thoroughly testing your registration flow, emails, pricing, forms, and participant experience before going live.
Our team does not perform full end-to-end event testing on your behalf.
Support response times
Depending on workload and request complexity, our SLA response times may range between 1 and 3 business days.
We therefore recommend planning your setup and launch timelines accordingly, especially before registration opening dates.
6. Best practices for a smooth onboarding experience
π Start your setup early before launch
π Test your registration flow multiple times, for each competition
π Keep internal documentation for your team
π Use duplicated editions whenever possible
π Reach out early for complex requests
π Review module setup guides carefully
