How competition templates affect competition settings

When you create a new competition using an existing competition template, certain settings from the source competition are automatically copied to the new one.

This helps you save time and maintain consistency when creating multiple competitions with similar configurations.

Only specific settings are copied. All other settings can still be configured independently after the competition is created.

  • Registration transfer activated

  • Allow duplicate registrations

Important

Using a template only copies the settings listed above.
You can still modify the competition configuration after it has been created.

Templates are mainly intended to speed up event setup and ensure consistent configuration across competitions.

If you are unsure about the best configuration for your event, our team is happy to guide you.
